EDEN is a composer and drummer from stoke-on-trent, currently living and THRIVING in london [just check out his plogcast 'big boy bigger dreams' for proof]

in the unique position of being a classically trained composer and also a drummer on the jazz and musical theatre scenes; eden creates music that crosses boundaries and transcends genre

in writing for the concert hall Eden has worked with likes of the talland quartet, the band of the raf college, as well as the saxophone orchestra manchester

eden's collaborations with all of these groups have been fruitful in creating unique soundscapes.

from the disquieting alien string writing in THE POLAR BEARS OF KOLYUCHIN ISLAND [premiered by the talland quartet], the pure unadulterated funk train ride which is TOPPLE THE ACROPOLIS [premiered by the band of the raf college], or the equal parts philosophical, poignant, and down-right filth of THE EDEN SHOW [premiered by the saxophone orchestra manchester, conducted by eden himself]

as well as his committment to writing new music for others, eden also plays his own music in various outfits including his solo act GRIM the THUNDER, a manchester-based sextet the mighty thunderwells, as well as jazz-folk-funk combo NWYFRE.

eden also plays for the danny miller big band, the mojo big band, simon howard, babel brass band, and has played extensively in various musical theatre companies and productions

even with all of this, he still somehow manages to find time to teach with the barnet education service, post fortnightly episodes of his plogcast, and even find time to play the occasional game of basketball
